ABOUT ME

I make one-of-a-kind ceramic vessels intuitively shaped and fired at my studio.

I am a Sydney-based ceramic artist living and working from my studio in the Northern Beaches. I hand-build ceramic vessels that I raku fire in my studio, a process that can take months to complete.

After many years working in other mediums—flowers, plants, and painting—coming back to clay has been a natural process. It has allowed me to combine my love of nature into clay forms that hold space for the natural elements surrounding my world.

My creative process is intuitive, and each vessel is unique in form and firing outcome—no two pieces are the same. I love working within a space of quiet reflection, allowing the making to come from within. This inner journey transforms into work that cradles memories and stories.

I am passionate about the raku firing process and the beautiful unpredictability it brings to the texture and glaze of each piece. The final stage—firing in the reduction bins—is what I believe breathes life into the work, giving each vessel its distinctive character and soul.
